We are a 100% cage free grooming salon where your pet's comfort is our main priority! Our unique one on one policy ensures that the time your pet spends in our salon is with their groomer and straight back to you- not waiting in a kennel.

This premium service not only allows for personalized care but ensures a low volume, stress free environment- perfect for pets who do best in calm atmospheres.

Our talented and experienced staff offer an array of expertise from breed standard trims and hand scissoring to companion pet appropriate styles and colour dyes!

This service is available to Full Groom pets within a four week period of a regular groom.

It includes a bath, blow dry , brush and nails along with a face/feet/bum trim!

*MATTED PETS* YOUR PET"S COMFORT IS PRIORITY WHEN DEALING WITH A MATTED COAT!

Mat removal is dangerous but necessary. With severely matted coats the chances of accidentally nicking the skin is increased.

*Prices do not include HST

*All prices based on standard breed size and regular grooming

*Fees apply for extra scissoring on double coat grooms and full grooms over 1/2" in length

*All services subject to a dematting, impacted coat or flea charge

Late pick ups are available for $25/30 min

24 hours notice from day of appointment required to cancel. No shows and failure to provide notice will result in a full service fee.

ABOUT US

NATALIE BABCOCK

Natalie Babcock first entered the grooming industry in 2003 earning her professional diploma under Master Groomer and former Groom Team Canada member, Marnie Mathison.

In the 18 years since, with a unique grooming style of manageable companion pet cuts with a breed standard finish, Natalie found success as an entrepreneur.

Opening her first shop, Aspen's - A Pet Grooming Place in Picton, she earned the County's Reader's Choice Favorite Pet Groomer each of her 5 years in business.

After a posting with her family to Nova Scotia, Natalie returned to the Quinte area and opened her second shop, Hair of the Dog in Trenton. After dedicating two years to independently building a busy business she decided to return to her roots with a professional, more focused, one on one atmosphere and opened Salty Dog in Belleville with a talented team of groomers!

Natalie and staff look forward to continuing to see their familiar four legged clients from all over the Quinte region as well as the new ones they meet in this great community of Belleville!
